Looking to move to Helix but want to keep using our own router
Hi! I've seen some similar discussions as this one but that are a bit older. Also, first time posting:) We are looking to move to Helix and we would have one terminal to be used with our TV, which is not a smart tv:) However, for the wifi, I want to keep our own router. What options do we have? I read some info on videotron.com about enabling bridge mode on the gateway but this disables wifi. At the same time, I'm assuming that the tv terminal can only work with the gateway. Does this mean that the only option would be to connect the tv terminal with a network cable? Or is there another option. I would like to keep things as is with our own router. Found some info on the internet about issues with double NAT and having to remove DHCP from your own router, which is not an option:) Thank you very much!Automation Isn’t Impossible—Even on Platforms Like Salesforce

When I mentioned automation, they replied with something I’ve heard many times before: “We’re avoiding automation because Salesforce uses dynamic IDs—so it’s basically impossible.” That statement really resonated with me, because I’ve seen the opposite firsthand. Salesforce automation isn’t effortless, but it’s far from unachievable. I’ve managed a long-term Salesforce automation initiative using TestComplete, and while it definitely required a thoughtful approach, a solid framework made the entire process stable and repeatable. Salesforce isn’t unique in this regard. Many large, customizable SaaS platforms get labeled as “too complex” to automate—whether due to shifting DOM structures, dynamic attributes, evolving UIs, or deeply layered components. These challenges can make automation feel overwhelming if you approach it with simple record-and-playback tools or without the right strategy. But with the right patterns—robust locators, smart abstraction, component-based frameworks, and proactive maintenance—even the most complicated cloud platforms can be automated reliably. Not easy, but absolutely possible.
Error when sending attached scam email
Hi, everytimes I want to report a scaming email to any scam email address, I send it as an attachment but then I get this error popup all the times. What is this error? Why am I getting this? How can I fix this? Or how can I report scam email to Videotron and to anywhere else (ex: spam@fightspam.gc.ca)? P.S. : I am using Thunderbird 128.13.0esr (64-bit) email tool under Ubuntu 24.04

Helix pod vs other brand access-point
Hello, I have Helix internet with 2 helix pods already, set up to run as access points. (Gateway -> switch -> wired connection to pods) I know the support for this configuration is iffy, and I've had issues in the past, but now seems to be working fine. My question is: I would like to add another pod to act as access point - would it be preferable to try my luck with another helix pod or use another brand access-point? If I use another brand , like ubiquiti, would it act in the same way as the helix pods? Ie. same SSID network name and the devices will automatically switch to the strongest network? I would ideally like one with 2 ports, like the helix, otherwise I'll need to buy a small switch as well. Any recommendations for access point if not going with helix? My hesitation with the helix pods is simply due to price, and the fact that previously, had a lot of trouble getting it to work in this way (however, the other 2 helix pods I have are currently working correctly as access points). Kids can bypass helix wifi lockout by forgetting then reconnecting to network.
Hello, I’m having an issue where if I pause internet to a particular child’s device (iOS, PC, etc), they have figured out a way to simply sign on again as a new device. In assuming it’s by forgetting the wifi network then reconnecting. Is there a way I can prevent this from happening? In my experience, automation is absolutely possible; challenging, yes, but far from impossible. I've led a long-term Salesforce automation project using TestComplete, and while it’s not plug-and-play, a well-structured framework can make it work reliably. That said, Salesforce isn't the only platform that gets labeled “too hard” to automate. I've heard similar concerns about other complex SaaS applications; where dynamic elements, complex DOMs, and frequent UI changes can make test automation feel like a losing battle. À mon domicile actuel, le service HELIX n'est pas encore disponible, et je n'ai donc d'autre choix que le service ILLICO pour l'internet et la télévision par câble. Les services ILLICO sont-ils proposés séparément ? Est-il possible d'avoir seulement le service internet ou est-ce que l'internet est groupé avec le service de base de la télévision par câble ? Je ne veux pas payer pour des services (de télévision par câble) que je n'utiliserai pas.Question about VIDEOTRON illico internet and cable TV service
At my current residence, HELIX internet and tv service is not yet available, so my only option is their ILLICO internet and cable TV service. Are ILLICO services offered separately? Is it possible to have only internet service or is the internet bundled with the basic cable tv service? I don’t want to pay for (basic cable tv) services I’m not going to use.
