Question about VIDEOTRON illico internet and cable TV service
At my current residence, HELIX internet and tv service is not yet available, so my only option is their ILLICO internet and cable TV service. Are ILLICO services offered separately? Is it possible to have only internet service or is the internet bundled with the basic cable tv service? Les services ILLICO sont-ils proposés séparément ? Est-il possible d'avoir seulement le service internet ou est-ce que l'internet est groupé avec le service de base de la télévision par câble ? Je ne veux pas payer pour des services (de télévision par câble) que je n'utiliserai pas.
helix bridge mod - android app performance
hello, hoping someone might be able to help! i recently got the Helix hardware and opted to use my linksys EA7500. In short, several android apps on my phone and tablet no longer function properly. Apps like the weather network fail to load data and end up "loading" indefinitely. Uber eats, kindle and Wikipedia all load very slowly. This never happened with the Illico system. Oddly my iphone apps work perfectly. to be clear, here are some tests i made to see what i can discover: - apps on android work fine on LTE - it ONLY happens when using the bridge mode (regular helix wifi works fine on said apps) - iphone seems unaffected - i have tried rebooting, resetting etc several times to no avail it seems the issue has something to do with the helix modem in bridge mode and the signal my android devices are receiving. anyone have any solutions (other than tossing out my linksys router)Optimizing Wi-Fi Performance with Helix Fi Gateway in a Multi-Story Home.

Overcharged internet without notification
Hello, I'd like to share my experience with Videotron internet. First of all, we have been a user of the internet of Videotron since 2016, which has been long enough to be a loyal customer. Over the years Videotron kept changing their internet plans/monthly rates, which got cheaper. However, since 2022 somehow we have been overcharged monthly amounts of the most expensive internet plan GIGA while our plan has been Internet 60 (minimum cheapest plan). We have never received any notice of rate changes from Videotron, finding those overcharges by chance. So we contacted customer service and asked them check our account, and they immediately found those unfair charges and modified the next bill amount. As for all the overcharges, they said they would contact us again less than 48 hours, but we had No call, No answer, No letter from them. How can we ask them refund us fairly?
How to switch Bell modem to Helix Pod
Long story short, I’m still subscribed to both internet services (Bell and Vidéotron). I still have the Helix Pod at home and the Bell router is what’s currently connected. I was told Vidéotron that I could simply unplug the bell router and connect the Helix Pod and that it should work since I’m still in service with Vidéotron. However the coax cable converts into a wall plate that has 2 telephone wires that provides the internet which the Bell router uses. Would I be able to turn this into a coax port at home or would I have to call a technician? Thanks.
Outage
Poor communication from Videotron on when internet service will be restored. Statements like working on it, and may get to you, or even we are busy with calls just sucks. No platitude please, just real hard facts about when service will be restored in Rockland, Ontario. Forced to use data on phone to continue doing my work is going to cost me lots of money. When will the INTERNET BE AVAILABLE in Rockland, Ontario. Specific known facts please
