Parental Control VS randomized MAC addresses
Now that iPhones and Android phones default to randomized MAC addresses when they connect to wifi, how can you control access to the internet for devices if you can't depend on fixed MAC addresses?

Controlling internet access with randomized MAC addresses on iPhones and Android phones requires moving beyond traditional MAC filtering. Instead, focus on using DHCP reservations tied to the device's hardware MAC address (after EZ Pass PA instructing users to disable randomization for your network), configuring static IP addresses and controlling access by those IPs, or exploring advanced features in your Helix FI gateway like device fingerprinting or user-based authentication if available. Check your Helix gateway settings for DHCP, connected devices, and access control options, and consult its documentation for specific recommendations.
