delaying return of cell phone by a month or so.
Last fall I received a call from the local Videotron outlet stating they had some really great fall savings for me. My last payment had been made on their lease agreement and so I went in and signed up and got a fairly good deal. The Canada USA package at the advertised price and two pixel 10s for $10.00 each. Ok, not a bad deal, but two weeks later they were $0.00 as they always are in December. I need two of them, so that's $20.00 per month, plus taxes, times 24. So my question for now is how can I stretch my contract an additional month to be able to take advantage of the zero dollar phones? Thanks for your help. Bruce.

Wow, je viens de passer d’une SIM à une eSIM en prévision de l’iPhone 17. Ensuite, je fais un test pour transférer l’eSIM d’un téléphone à un autre et on me dit que je dois aller en boutique pour la réinstaller?! Sérieusement? Le but d’une eSIM, c’est justement de pouvoir la changer rapidement. On me répond que c’est une question de sécurité. Mon téléphone est déjà verrouillé, en quoi est-ce moins sécuritaire? Bienvenue en 2025, Vidéotron.
Apple Watch eSIM in Ontario?
I spoke to service. They said I need to be on a helix account in order to activate an Apple Watch with eSIM. Unfortunately helix is not available at my location in Ottawa Ontario. Has anyone figured out how to make this work short of faking an address in Gatineau for their account?

5G+ ?
Bonjour à tous, Nouveau client chez Vidéotron depuis Janvier pour 3 lignes mobilité. Je suis souvent à Montréal et sur la rive sud de Montréal ou apparament la 5G+ est disponible. Toutefois, je n'ai jamais vu l'icone sur mon iPhone (16 Pro Max). Peu importe ou je suis (à l'aéroport de Montréal, Dorval, Anjou, proche du Pont-Champlain, Dix30, Laval etc.) Je vois seulement du 5G. Auparavant, avec Rogers nous avions souvent du 5G+, surtout à Montréal et rive sud. Sommes nous les seuls dans cette situation ? Merci
Ottawa Coverage/Data speeds
Hi ! I switch to Videotron a number of years ago (2018 to be exact). I have been mostly content with the service I've gotten in Ottawa, with the exception of the South/West end. The service there (Barrhaven for example) has been patchy at best. Often I find that even though I have full signal according to the phone, I will drop calls, and/or data is so slow it's almost non existent, or I won't get much of any signal, it' comes and goes. At the time I switched, I decided to make the move because the pricing was much better than Rogers, so my feeling was even if I got the same service, at least it would be cheaper lol. I somewhat expected this back in 2018 since at that point Rogers was having the same issues. I had many arguments with Rogers before I left, and their excuse was that it was some sort of interference from the Airport. Telus and Bell do not have the same issue. Fast forward to 2025, things don't seem to have changed much. I'm sort of wondering if anyone else has the same experience. Have you tried to complain ? Other areas in Ottawa seem to be better, especially downtown. It doesn't seem to matter if I'm on a direct Videotron tower, or a Partner tower (usually Rogers), the service is the same. I'm not asking for 400mbps speed, but something more than 2 or 3mbps down and 1mbps up would be nice :)

Comment est calculé le 120 jrs maximum aux USA? J’ai passé 2 mois aux USA à l’automne 2024, ensuite je suis revenue au Québec pour 2 mois. Je retourne aux USA à la mi-février 2025 pour 3 mois. Est-ce que le calcul de 120 jrs recommence à zéro au changement d’année civile ou lorsque je reviens au Québec ?User Centre App - iOS
This has been going on for awhile now, but my User Centre App on iOS always logs me out. Seems to me I would always be logging in. When I launch it, it asks for my password. The app used to have FaceId (I think) but I don't see that in the settings anymore. The app doesn't even allow an autofill of my credentials. I must manually click in the password box, click autofill, which brings me to my passwords, search for videotron, copy the password, then back out of passwords back to the User Centre app and then manually paste the password into the app. Gimme a break!
