Canada - International Plan No USA calling??
I am wondering why the Canada-international plan has no USA calling included (Canada to USA) , lately most plans have USA calling included so why should this premium plan not have it, I hope this changes soon. Freedom has USA calling in their roaming plans, so either bring us Freedom or give us USA please.
Canada-International plan - First Impressions
Speed in Europe on partner networks (at least in Germany, Netherlands and Belgium) is downgraded from 5G to LTE, due to partner agreements not optimized yet. (as tested on business trips April 2024 and June/July 2024). This has finally been disclosed to me by Videotron customer service after several support calls. I've done side-by-side tests with my colleagues on the same major networks (T-Mobile, O2, Vodaphone) who have SIM cards from those providers and they are getting 5G and I'm consistently getting only LTE. I've even done this comparison test inside the cell phone providers stores. To my knowledge, only in France, does Videotron have the agreement for 5G. When I was originally considering the Videotron Canada-International plan, none of the sales literature or fine print discloses this fact. Videotron customer service advised me they are working on getting 5G from the partner networks, but would not provide me a time-line of when it would happen, nor would they agree to pro-actively inform me of the progress.

Hi, we have ordered 2 iPhones 15 pro max on November 24th, since then there is basically no update… visited the store two times no information, customer service tells us to wait, but it’s been already more than a month!!! Videotron is extending the waiving of long-distance and SMS charges for our customers to Israel, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip until November 30, 2023. Roaming charges for customers in those regions will also be waived during that period. No need to contact us. I live in the southern suburbs of Ottawa, which has spotty at best reception from Videotron. With the acquisition of Freedom Mobile and the ability of Freedom subscribers to now use the Videotron network as a home network, does any one know when we will be able to use the Freedom network and when/if it will be integrated into one network?Special offers

Videotron needs to get going with ESIM. New phone just released & Samsung watch 5 released on 26th of August 2022. Thinking of porting my lines back to Rogers since they support it. Been loyal to Videotron for 10+ years but since they do not have a ETA date on the release best for me to just cut my losses with them for this option and enjoy it on Rogers
