I asked about the eSim support for apple watch prior to purchasing my watch almost 2 years ago and was told it was coming soon and have not seen it yet. I have since asked why and they said it was negotiating and Videotron is a smaller client so it is harder to negotiate. As of today Freedom Mobile (formally Wind Mobile) has access to apple watch plans (https://www.apple.com/watch/cellular/) when will Videotron support this? I spent extra money to have the cellular option on my watch based on support representatives only to be dissappointed again and again over the last2 YEARS! Please provide an update and a reasonable explanation as to why you are not supporting this?HappyHiker7707-06-2020Disciple7,1 kVues3likes0CommentaireWifi calling
To get cover of dead zones, like my bedroom is semi basement, the phone call usually connected not well all the time, but my wifi signal is full. If videotron introducing wifi calling , there is no need to going up stairs to take the phone call. With Wi-Fi Calling, you can place a phone call if you have a Wi-Fi connection in an area with little or no cellular coverage. Also , If your carrier supports Wi-Fi Calling on iCloud-connected devices, you can also make and receive Wi-Fi calls on other devices. You can use Wi-Fi Calling on these devices, even if your iPhone isn't on the same Wi-Fi Network or turned on. Hope videotron can improve its service to its customers by this .RésoluJeagerjaques06-10-2017Officer12 kVues2likes4Commentaires988: New Suicide Crisis Helpline

I just made the switch over to videotron from bell. I usually have websites that I sign into that send me a code by text and I enter that code to sign in. It's not working with videotron service. Anyone else had this problem and if I call videotron can they fix it? If not I'll cancel my lines because it's really dumb that they block stuff like thatRésoluAlexType-R01-17-2022Initiate6 kVues2likes1CommentaireEsim for iphone in 2021 possibility?

Why is Videotron ignoring cellular support for the Apple Watch? We are very happy with our Videotron cellular account and service but my wife and I both want cellular support for our Apple Watches. Are we going to have to move to another provider in order to have that service? Even if we knew cellular support was coming, we might wait rather than leave Videotron It seems there are other customers seeking the same solution.Maxfubar06-30-2019Officer6,9 kVues2likes3CommentairesDaily traveller
Hi! I’m going to the US tomorrow and I’ve beeb trying to figure out the daily traveller pass but can’t seem to figure out how to get started. When I click on sign up, it brings me back to the home page of my app. Any tips? Is it worth it? I also can’t seem to find how much it costs. Thank you!RésoluNadiaservent105-17-2018Initiate5,7 kVues1like1CommentaireS9+ VoLTE support?
So the S9+ has been out for some time now, any ideas when Videotron will have VoLTE for our phone?RésoluJeffg105-02-2018Squire12 kVues1like9CommentairesWhy can't we carry over unused data? We paid for it.
I received a warning that I was about to go over my data limit and encouraged to either buy a block for $50 or upgrade my mobile plan. Either way, it was going to cost me more money. Then I looked at my previous two months' consumption andfound I had only used 65% in one month and 75% the other, for a total of 1.4gb of unused data. My question to the community is: please explain to me why can't we carry over data that we have paid handsomely for, but didn't use? Thank you.Résolubartletts02-09-2018Initiate6,5 kVues1like2CommentairesRandom SIM card charge when upgrading devices
So this may be nitpicking but I thought it was enough of an issue that I should forewarn everyone here. I recently upgraded to aNote 8 on my account. At the store, I specifically said I wanted to keep my old SIM card, and no SIM swap was completed when I picked up the phone. Lo and behold, on my new invoice, I receive a SIM card charge. I find this both amusing and sad that this is automatically charged to customer accounts even if no such service was provided. Perhaps they aren't too far away from Rogers and Bell, what with all the news regarding those two carriers that is emerging.RésoluevoMR01-24-2018Chevalier6,8 kVues1like2CommentairesPlanned obsolescence: Fact or fiction?
A newer and snappier cellphone hits the market and suddenly your 4-year-old device starts to seem slow – oh so slow. Conspiracy theorists will tell you the cellphone manufacturers program their products to slowly self-destruct. Others will say it’s just your perception, or an excuse for getting a flashier phone. But according to this article in the New York Times, if your phone is slowing down it’s almost always because of software upgrades, which are often released a few days before or after a new mobile phone comes out. Here are a few excerpts from the article about things you can do to make the updates easier for your phone to handle: Start fresh: Tech companies make it simple to upgrade to a new operating system by pressing an “update” button, which seamlessly migrates all your apps and data over. While that’s convenient, it isn’t the best way to ensure that things will continue running smoothly. A better practice is backing up all your data and purging everything from the device before installing the new operating system. This “clean install” works more reliably because the engineers developing operating systems were able to test this condition more easily. Remove the “cruft.” Sometimes you can do some light maintenance to speed up your device. Over the long term, an operating system accumulates system files, settings, logs and other data that can bog down your device. For iPhones and Android devices, you can open the settings app and select reset settings. Just make sure you back up first in case there are important settings you may lose. These are just a couple of examples of ways you can keep your phone zipping along even after several OS updates. For the full list, check out the article. If you have any tips of your own for speeding up a slow-as-snails clunker, please share!VincentQ12-05-2017Rédacteur Web4,2 kVues1like1CommentaireBe ready to travel anytime, anywhere with your mobile phone
