Early contract renewal, 0$ device balance
Hi All, I recently found out that I have a 0$ device balance, with 9 months left on my contract. (My plan was higher than the minimum required, by my conbtract). I was told by an agent at Videotron that I could renew my contract early, for free, no charges or penalties. Great, or so I thought. I went to a videotron store and was told I could, but would have a 318$ penalty for breaking the contract. Called back Videotron, new agent says I have a penalty. Other agent blatantly lied to me, and almost cost me hundreds of dollars on the misinformation. Now, all Videotron wants to offer me for the false Info is 30% off my penalty as a "sorry", when the standard discount on early renewal is that exact 30%. I was told when I got my phone 15 months ago that my penalty would only be the device balance, now it seems it's the device balance, plus contract months left. Why does videotron not notify ukrainian users when they reach their internet data limit? Why does videotron not respect the law that requires them to disactivate internet data when the surcharge reaches 50$? Why does videotron not respect the contracts they signed with their customers? Why does the law let videotron charge over 8000$ to a user without ever having sent them notices or without having blocked the data? Why do your customers have to fight to get their contracts respected? Last fall I received a call from the local Videotron outlet stating they had some really great fall savings for me. My last payment had been made on their lease agreement and so I went in and signed up and got a fairly good deal. The Canada USA package at the advertised price and two pixel 10s for $10.00 each. Ok, not a bad deal, but two weeks later they were $0.00 as they always are in December. I need two of them, so that's $20.00 per month, plus taxes, times 24. So my question for now is how can I stretch my contract an additional month to be able to take advantage of the zero dollar phones? Thanks for your help. Good day, I would like to know why my account has been charged with over 45 gigs for the month of September. Then I get a call from Videotron 1 day before the end of my monthly cycle about it. So I'm getting charged with $1920.40. I have called and called and have gotten only limited help. After trying to get this fix/reduced to the $50.00 fee. I was offered a $900.00 rebate. I will explain that I have 2 phones, one for me and my wife the exact model of phone samA51. They tried to tell me that my router had failed (not Videotron product) and that is why it went to mobile data charges. I said then if this happened then both phones would show mobile charges even a minimal charge if my router was off on both phones. And Since we are under Covid-19 work from home, myself and my wife are constantly connected to the Wi-Fi for both our pc's. There has been no interruption. I asked for this to be sent to me by e-mail. this was refused. I said that I have a right to have it sent to me. On another call I got "you said you would not pay the bill." that is why they are not e-mailing me. I said "I am disputing the charge" that is why I'm on the phone. I said that I still wanted the rebate offered sent to me. they refused. then gave me the send your complaint to satisfaction@videotron.com - I sent one on the 15th of October. No reply yet. I'm sent billing every month. I don't have someone calling from the company telling me how much I owe. I get this by e-mail. I also have the e-mail from 2013. that Videotron has our back when it comes to overage fees. This was mandated by the CRTC which came into effect Dec 2, 2013. SO WHY am I sending an e-mail here if you are not even honoring your mandate which is a MANDATORY Wireless Code of Standards. Bonjour à tous, Nouveau client chez Vidéotron depuis Janvier pour 3 lignes mobilité. Je suis souvent à Montréal et sur la rive sud de Montréal ou apparament la 5G+ est disponible. Toutefois, je n'ai jamais vu l'icone sur mon iPhone (16 Pro Max). Peu importe ou je suis (à l'aéroport de Montréal, Dorval, Anjou, proche du Pont-Champlain, Dix30, Laval etc.) Je vois seulement du 5G. Auparavant, avec Rogers nous avions souvent du 5G+, surtout à Montréal et rive sud. Sommes nous les seuls dans cette situation ? I'm new here and need help! I've recently bought my Pixel 8 Phone, unfortunately I've missed the return date as I don't like it at all, should've stuck with Samsung! I've had nothing but problems since day 1, have been on the phone daily with my provider, they were blaming everything but the phone, turns out it was the phone but they didn't believe me! Anyway, I'm having problems answering the phone in the very short period I'm given! So I need to increase the length of time/number of rings to answer my phone! When I roam on to a partner network (usually partner1), i sometimes get a "x" on my signal bar. it works for text and phone calls, but not for data. I have to restart my phone 5-6 times before the "x" goes away and the data works. I have a Nexus 6P and it is fully up to date.
