Just an update. I contacted Videotron on the issue and spoke to 2 different people who performed a variety of tests. They said that they were able to see that the Helix terminal was freezing several times an hour for days and weeks. However, they were unable to identify why. They ended up saying that it is most likely an issue with my Helix Gateway which is dropping connection. This can't be the case, because I have absolutely no issue with connectivity on any other device in the house. I even did several ping tests and there are no dropped packets even at the very furthest distance from the gateway.
Just thought I would share that. If anyone has any recommendations, that would be appreciated.
