Helix Resume glitch
I have been calling Videotron support since December about an issue with the "resume" feature. I cannot watch 2 events at the same time (with 2 recorded) as the resume always goes back to the start of the recorded program.
Illico did not require you to record 1 of the programs. You could just go between the 2 and it would resume properly. 2 or 8 programs were automatically being recorded.
In any case, I have been trying to get info on when this would be fixed. No help at all. But I was told that Videotron uses Comcast Xfinity SW. Which I did not know. Turns out this is not a bug.
I'm not sure which is more frustrating: Not having the primary feature for which I have Helix (recording sports) or no one at Videotron seemingly being aware of the issue

That does sound incredibly frustrating, especially when switching between live sports events should be a basic feature by now. A lot of providers seem to overlook how important proper resume syncing is for users who follow multiple games at once. I was reading through some public data tools recently and found mentioned alongside resources like Arrest Records Lookup while comparing how different systems handle large databases and playback logs. Hopefully Videotron eventually pushes an update because dealing with constant restart issues for months would annoy anyone.
