Hélix in Florida
Hi community. I am spending the winter in Florida. My helix is recording programs back home in Saint Jerome. When I try to watch my pre-recorded programs or live television here in Florida, I get an error message saying that I do not have access in this country. I have installed a VPN with an IP address in Montreal I still have no access to my recorded programming or live television. Has anyone found a workaround for this problem?

I subscribed to Crave and am very disappointed so far. Why does Helix not have a Crave app? I have the app on my ipad but most of the series are blocked and requires a subscription, why is my subscription with Videotron not valid? So far I am very disappointed and I can’t even subscribe to Crave directly because Helix does not have the app. I have been with Videotron for yeats and have always been satisfied until now…
CBC News Network volume on illico HD vs SD
I subscribe to CBC News Network on the illico TV service. When I watch it on the SD channel 18, I can leave the volume set at 28 like most other channels. However, when I switch to HD channel 618, I have to double the volume on my TV to 56 to get the same audio level. Then when the commercials come on they are blasted at high volume and I have to lower the volume, then raise it again when the commercials end. Has anyone else experienced this? It only seems to happen on CBC News Network.
