still can't access bing.com
Sorry for all the posts, but the replies I posted on the previous thread seem to be disappearing???
here's my 'tracert www.bing.com' when my browser can't browse the site:
Tracing route to e86303.dscx.akamaiedge.net [23.53.4.26]

Trace complete.
Last time I got an incomplete trace it stopped at 216.113.125.7 (Videotron Ltee, Beauharnois QC), this time it stopped at 10.170.160.106 (bogon ip)? When access to bing.com doesn't work, it's this bogon ip that is most often the last link in the chain of ips that work.
Again, sorry for all these posts, but this for me is a larger problem.
So what finally seems to have worked for me, is changing the primary and secondary DNS servers to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. (As an aside, I first tried changing the DNS to 1.1.1.1, but that didn't help).

Good morning!
An issue similar to yours has been reported on our end and is currently being worked on by our IT team. However, to be sure that you are indeed affected by that issue I recommend contacting our Tech Support anyway to eliminate the possibility of an entirely different problem.
You may contact our technical support by chat at https://videotron.com/en/contact-us and provide the traceroute above if necessary.
Have a great day!
