Overage data fees credited if you have a power outage due to the ice storm
Many of you took advantage of the lifting of the mobile data limit announced during the ice storm! The initiative will end today, April 16, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. As a reminder: the credit will be applied during the April-May billing cycle. There is no need for you to take action. Thank you!
In the current context, Videotron would like to reassure you that our teams are mobilized and working to restore service as soon as possible. Because our customers are at the heart of our concerns, we announce this measure:
If you are a Videotron Internet customer, also have a Mobile plan with us and do not currently have access to Internet, all excess data used to help you meet your needs during the power outage going on now will automatically be credited.
You do not have to contact us. The adjustment will be made automatically during your next billing cycle (April-May).
Does the TV cable service repaired…if not when can we expect the service to return…?

- Cable internet and TV in H4A 2v2 are intermittent — on for an hour or so then down for half a day. Basically a random service.
- Hello, I have home internet with videotron. The large videotron cable that feeds the street has been cut by a tree and the same for the one going to my house. I imagine the street one is already flagged by videotron but what process should I follow to
eventually get a service technician to fix the one that connects to my house ? I know patience will be needed but I’d like to confirm what’s the best way to be on some list to get my house connected again. Thanks - No outages map like Hydro? Tech support is unreachable too. After service has been restored, can I still use the part of the data that I had not used before the icestorm? Say I have a 10 Gb limit and I had used only 4 Gb before the 4th, can I still use the remaining 6 afterwards even if I had used 7 (or 70) Gb during the outage? What exactly is meant with "all excess data used"? Please clarify so that we do net get any surprises!

You get Thousands of dollars from each customer each year. You’re telling that your “technicians” are working on it? Then pay for more “technicians”. Be prepared. Hydro Quebec had much more of a difficult challenge!
Nothing on your web, no updates there!! Your company is arrogant and holding us hostage. It’s 2023, figure it out. - Dear Vincent, currently Sunday night. Internet came back this afternoon. Sadly, i couldn't stay to benfit. Back home and internet is once again gone. Four days of no service. So now I need to figure how I am.working tomorrow since I have busted my phone data. No need to tell what I think of Videotron and it's amazing service.
