Why no VoLTE when switching from Contract to BYOD?

Hi, I have a Galaxy S7 that I got through contract from you. My contract came up and I switched to a BYOD plan. Now I am told that VoLTE is not compatible with BYOD discount. The Videotron website...

    Hello kris,

     

    Good question. Because an account is the information about the services given at an address, to have 2 addresses serviced you would need 2 accounts. The best thing to do is to open a new account for the new address. When you are ready making the move, your old account will be transferred at the new address, automatically closing the double account so that you only keep your original account in the end.

     

    The first step to do this will be to call us at 1-877-512-0911.
