If your HELIX app on Fire TV lags under a new ISP, try cascading your old router via WAN-to-LAN—it may bypass IPv6 issues and DNS conflicts. Legacy firmware or Google DNS settings can restore smooth performance, especially when Videotron isn’t the local provider. Don’t toss that old router—it might be the key.

Thanks james698henry for your comment. Everything you suggest I already did, as stated in the third paragraph of my original post. There is definitely legacy firmware in the old router, but I don't remember actually re-configuring it to use Google DNS like I did on a router at another residence.
