Questions about Crave
Hi, I have a few questions about Crave.
- My understanding is that this is a streaming provider other than Videotron, right?
- If I want to watch something on Crave I have to logon to a Crave site, right?
- Are there requirements for Videotron members to subscribe to Crave?
- As Videotron members, do we get a discount subscribing to Crave?
- To people watching Crave, how is it?
- Not worth it because its mostly old new shows
- Takes months before something new shows up
- Kind of interesting to watch
- New stuffs on it but not as much as Netflix nor Amazon Prime
- Totally worth it
- Is there a way to see Crave's schedule to get an idea on what kind of show/movies they have?
Personnaly, from the adds on Videotron TV mentionning Crave, I have seen only one show that I would be interesting to see. The others did not interest me.

There are 2 types of subscription for the Crave channel:
1) In fact, on the Videotron side:
Your Crave subscription includes the Super Écran linear channels 1 to 4, the Crave linear channels 1 to 4 and the channel HBO.
Crave also offers On Demand content in English through the “On Demand” section of your Helix terminal.
Otherwise, you can also access Super Écran's on-demand content via the crave.ca website or the Crave mobile application.
To connect to crave.ca, you will need to click on the “Connect via your TV provider” button.
Then, you will need to indicate your My Helix Account credentials to validate your subscription.
This subscription with us is $20 per month.
2) The complete version:
If you want the French version and the complete HBO library, you have to subscribe directly with them: crave.ca.
It's like a Netflix or Prime Video subscription that is not related to Videotron.
We don't offer this version due to broadcasting rights which are beyond our control.

Crave is a Canadian streaming service owned by Bell Media, separate from Videotron. You can access it through the Crave website or app, or sometimes through your Videotron TV box if it's part of your subscription. Videotron users don’t need anything special to subscribe, but Crave may be available as an add-on through Videotron—though there’s no clear public discount just for being a Videotron myWisely customer. As for content, many users feel Crave has high-quality shows (like HBO series), but not as much new content or variety compared to Netflix or Amazon Prime. Some feel it takes a while for fresh content to show up. .
