VoLTE: ETA on if and when this will launch on Videotron
Just switched from Rogers for a much better customer service experience, and much more affordable prices. Just wondering if anyone had any idea on if and when VoLTE will be launched on Videotron? They already have the devices, and their LTE network is actually pretty decent already.

So with the recent CRTC ruling, anyone know what the plans are for those of us that currently use the unlimited music service? Will Videotron keep fighting with the CRTC or in lieu of that will they increase our data allowances?

Cancellation Indemnity
Hi, just wanted some clarification on how the cancellation indemnity works. Tried to search site and message board but not clear to me. So as an example choosing a high end cell phone such as Samsung Galaxy S8 http://www.videotron.com/residential/mobile/devices-and-accessories/phones/galaxy-s8#/order/info It lists $1029.95 as cash price $249.95 as cost for a 24M plan at $79.95 $149.95 as cost for a 24M plan at $89.95 Assuming I had signed the 24 month contract and asked Videotron to cancel early, how is cancellation fee calculated?

VoLTE is online now, will it support iPhone 6, 6s and SE?
As we know, VoLTE support iPhone 7 and later. Will it support iPhone 6, 6s and SE? As Apple website saying VoLTE will support iPhone 6 and later.

Wifi calling
To get cover of dead zones, like my bedroom is semi basement, the phone call usually connected not well all the time, but my wifi signal is full. If videotron introducing wifi calling , there is no need to going up stairs to take the phone call. With Wi-Fi Calling, you can place a phone call if you have a Wi-Fi connection in an area with little or no cellular coverage. Also , If your carrier supports Wi-Fi Calling on iCloud-connected devices, you can also make and receive Wi-Fi calls on other devices. You can use Wi-Fi Calling on these devices, even if your iPhone isn't on the same Wi-Fi Network or turned on. Hope videotron can improve its service to its customers by this .

iPhone eSIM support
Hope videotrom can support eSIM on iPhone XR, XS and XS Max. Which means I don’t need a real sim from videotron to on my iPhone. That would help me a lot when I travelling around the world.

Wifi calling in my account
I updated my iPhone X carrier setting to Videotron 31.1. I have latest iOS 11.2.5. When I turn my wifi calling on, there is a msg showing up to contact Videotron , and it prevent me to enable it. I chatted with customer service and technical support on line, they could not solve it, they ask me to go to the store. I went to a store, they gave me a new SIM card , and tried on another iPhone to enable wifi calling, the same warning shows up, and it could be enabled. And I am so sad that they launch a function but I can’t use it in my account. And no one from Videotron can tell me what happenes to my service.

is It possible to keep my current plan at the end of my contract and still Upgrade my phone or is the only way if I pay the full amount of a new phone. Really don’t want to lose my 15gb of data.

Semi basement reception
I, recently switched from Public Mobile(Telus Network) to Videotron. I used to have an excellent reception in a semi basement, never had any problem. With Videotron, I noticed that half of outgoing calls does not pass through. Also, I do not receive some incoming calls. I cannot even reach my voicemail many times, very frustrating.. However, I have no problem out of semi basement. I wonder if there is any solution to this. I live in Lachine area.

Paying over 400 a month for 9gigs
What can i do about getting severely ripped off every single month forr years with no recourse? Is it reasonable to pay this insane rate and be belittled for wanting more data countless times? Is it legal, ultimately? How would the CRTC respond to such oppressive and financially destructive rates?
