Port forwarding using ip adress - Helix Fi
Hi, I'm trying to portforward a port to a server running linux. I know for a fact the device is connected to the internet via my helix router. However, it doesnt show up in the list of connected device on the app. Therefore when i try to create a port forwarding rule my server doesnt show in the possible devices to forward to. I, very annoyingly, cant just enter the ip adress to port forward to. Is there a workaround to this badly designed system? Or is there a way to use an ip adress when setting up port forwarding? Edit: The server doesnt use an IPv6 adress. I can ping the gateway from the server without any packet loss
Problems with my IP address
Hi there. I’ve been trying for several months now to open network settings in the browser. Before it worked fine, but it seems that my browser is not able to reach my public IP anymore. The browser tries to load it for a minute and gives an error. I also encountered problems with running servers on my PC. I tried to solve this problem for like a month or so and couldn't find any information about that. I have literally checked everything available on the internet with no results. I appreciate any help from you.
Hélix in Florida
Hi community. I am spending the winter in Florida. My helix is recording programs back home in Saint Jerome. When I try to watch my pre-recorded programs or live television here in Florida, I get an error message saying that I do not have access in this country. I have installed a VPN with an IP address in Montreal I still have no access to my recorded programming or live television. Has anyone found a workaround for this problem?

Don’t worry, you need to enable voice command manually, meaning your remote isn’t always listening to you. If you have a compatible iOS or Android device, you should try the Helix app. It has some great features. You can use the app to watch your content on different screens (tablet, phone). This mobility allows you to program your recordings remotely and even watch them from wherever you are. The feature I find the most interesting is that you can download content to watch it later without using data. So you can download episodes from your favourite show and watch them on your mobile device without using up your data.
