Student moving to BC - use Videotron until get permanent address?

I could have sworn I already asked this question but I can't find any trace of it.

We have mobile plans in Ottawa with Videotron, which I think expire at the end of the year. Our daughter is moving to Vancouver to attend university in August. Can she use her Videotron plan for a few weeks or a couple of months until she gets her permanent address in residence? Once she has that, she can get a BC phone plan instead. Thanks

Hi Mikes,

She will be able to use her phone in Vancouver for a maximum of 3 months.

The line will be cut after the 3-month period.

We do not have Vidéotron cellphone towers in British-Colombia, which means we rely on our partners and they allow our clients a maximum of 3 months of using more than 50% of their plan on their towers.
