S9 plus preorder?

I don't understand the way videotron does its pre order system. I'm pre-ordering a phone to get it on the day it goes on sale. Why does videotron ship it out on the day it goes on sale? It defeats the purpose of going on March 16 to buy it no?

If in Montreal, there’s a chance you will receive it the same day or next day (even on Saturday)

I have already receive an S8 by mail one week earlier and my iphone X the D-Day so don't worry with your preorder, i'm pretty sure you will receive it in time.
