5G rollout status

What's the status for 5G support from Videotron, specifically in the Ottawa area?

 

I need a new phone and if 5G is still a pipedream I may as well go with the Pixel 4a rather than wait for the 4a 5G or 5

 

Also, when 5G does roll out will I need a new sim?

      : based on Videotron website, 5G is coming on December 2020 !

      The iPhone in Canada support the 5G but not the real 5G with the 12mmWave
