So this may be nitpicking but I thought it was enough of an issue that I should forewarn everyone here. I recently upgraded to aNote 8 on my account. At the store, I specifically said I wanted to keep my old SIM card, and no SIM swap was completed when I picked up the phone. Lo and behold, on my new invoice, I receive a SIM card charge. I find this both amusing and sad that this is automatically charged to customer accounts even if no such service was provided. My video Tron Wi-Fi calling consistently cuts out after one or a few minutes on a phone call. When I was with Telus the Wi-Fi calling worked fine. I have superfast home Internet. 500 MB Per second down and 20 MB per second up. Is this Wi-Fi calling issue just a knownproblem with videetron or do you have any suggestions and tips that I can try to make my Wi-Fi calling more stable at my house? The calls are crystal clear, and I’m usually sitting in one spot, and then all of a sudden the call drops...pretty much always. Anyone else having trouble calling toll-free 1-800 numbers? I can call through another provider with no issue but cannot through my Videotron line. It's not just my phone either. Hi Everyone I would like to share my case with you , 2 months ago i decided to sign up with videotron , which is the worst decision ever after i signed up for my account and paid 600 dollars for my new phone the service wasnt working because the system of videotron crashed on boxing day so i decided to return my phone and cancel my services its been two months that im trying to get my money back and below are the excuses they are giving me 1) We Just received confirmation from finance department and the amount will be paid this week ( I received this answer 4 times ) 2) We have two employees in the finance department one of them is on vacation the other is soo busy that she doesnt have time 3) The amount was approved by the finance but unfortounately it was rejected by the compliance department 4) The finance department doesnt have the authority to refund amounts over 500 dollars 5) You should be receiving the amount by cheque 1 month later sorry sir but it was a mistake from our end the money will be refunded to the card you used 6) After Speaking to three Supervisors ( Kamara , Jean philipe, And Mathiew ) none of them could do anything about the case 7) After speaking to 9 customer service representives which i decided not to share there employee ID number each one of them gave me a different excuse Finally i wanted to warn you all dont deal with this company horrible customer service , problems between departments , nobody is honest and until today i havent received my money back. i will make sure to inform any of my friends to never deal with such a company that doesnt respect its customers and most importantely they act as if they are a professional and big company when they are not there customer service representives work from home and the finance department has two employees also the wait time is ridicoulous and thats ofcourse due to the amount of complaints and dissatisfied customers Dont ever Deal with this company Best Regards4,6 kVues0like2CommentairesVoLTE calls between carriers
I'm wondering if voLTE only works betweens members of the same carrier. The only time I seem to have an hd call is when I'm speaking to another videotron customer. Same goes for other people I know. They only get hd calling when talking to another customer of their phone company. Is this the case or am I doing something wrong? Hello, Hi, this is for any of you with the Note8. Now that the device has officially a month in the market, can you tell us your impressions? Battery life, overall performance, sPen, dual camera, etc. I read somewhere that the dual focus feature is not as nice as all the hype had made us believe. I will like to know how it compares to the portrait mode of Apple and how well that dual OIS is working out for the Note8. Hey folks, So I have a Galaxy S9+ which I bought used, I reflashed the Canadian Image (this is a SM-G965W8 (So a Canadian version)) and forced the VTR CSC to be aapplied. At that moment, the WiFi calling feature was able to be activated and worked great. Recently, I went to the US and used another providers SIM Card. Ever since I returned, the WiFi Calling feature will not reactivate. I sometime can "trick" it into working. It sends me the code, which I enter and then I hit back and the Requesting Services pops up with the WiFi Calling icon up top. If I close all recent apps, it stays on and is able to be used, but eventually dissapears. My wife has the exact same phone with the same OS/CSC and hers works perfectly. My VoLTE works and is active. I contacted Tech Support and they gave me the brushoff as "If it wasn't bought from us, we never guarantee it to work" schpeal, also they said because of my IMEI it never should have worked in the first place. I tried a Network Settings reset to see if that would work, but nothing. I'm pretty bummed about this as I have no service in my basement and 1 bar upstairs and it was a real plus to have working.
