Videotron cause Disconnect in League of Legends only?
Has anyone been disconnecting randomly while playing League of Legends? I sometimes disconnect for like 5-10s randomly and it happens only in LoL?
I asked my friends who are with Videotron and they seem to experience the same issue too?

Same issue here. Users on Facebook have reported contacting Videotron, and apparently they were working on a ticket, although they needed more people to report the issue to open a ticket with Riot (5 people, a lovely ridiculous arbitrary number).
I tried support myself, and was told I would need to contact Riot Games myself and that there is currently nothing they can do until then.
I am shocked by the excessively poor response to this situation. I have no word other than pathetic. I'll give it a day or 2 for them to at least acknowledge the issue and confirm they are actively working on it, otherwise I'll also be shopping for a new provider on this Black Friday.

I think it's meant to be for their technical support (either by phone, chat or messenger). But I tried chat support and filed a complaint, they called me back, and their answer is pretty much that they cannot do anything, and that it is apparently impossible for them to log a ticket with Riot. All they needed to do to reassure me is to show that they acknowledge the broad issue and are looking into solutions. But given that their answer is pretty much "we cannot do anything", let's see what others ISPs who are not having this issue have to offer.

Interesting issue—connection drops limited to one game can definitely point to routing or traffic prioritization problems. Sometimes ISPs throttle certain services without making it obvious. Checking logs or running ping tests while playing might reveal packet instability. In my experience, researching more detailed regional data such as Lee property assessment can also help when diagnosing localized service performance patterns. Hope you get the disconnect problem resolved soon.

I am having the same issue ! I called support but everything seems fine on my side... I'll wait and see what happens. I just changed from Bell because of the prices, I don't want to go back but this is annoying as heck.
Yes, I have 2 friends with videotron, one with Bell. Both videotron users experience disconnects about twice every hour for about 15 seconds. Internet is still working as we can load youtube videos in the background. Bell user has no issue whatsoever. We are switching to Bell this week
