24 SujetsVoLTE: ETA on if and when this will launch on Videotron
Just switched from Rogers for a much better customer service experience, and much more affordable prices. Just wondering if anyone had any idea on if and when VoLTE will be launched on Videotron? They already have the devices, and their LTE network is actually pretty decent already.Résolu30 kVues1like45CommentairesPartner network data connectivity issues
When I roam on to a partner network (usually partner1), i sometimes get a "x" on my signal bar. it works for text and phone calls, but not for data. I have to restart my phone 5-6 times before the "x" goes away and the data works. I have a Nexus 6P and it is fully up to date. What is going on?Résolu24 kVues0like32Commentairesmonitoring Bandwidth usage of devices
Hi all, I am totally new to Videotron home internet and i am so far so happy with it, specially the speed! my service was installed yesterday morning, today i checked the usage at 7 am in the mobile app and it says 10 GB of download (!) which 5 of it was between midnight and 4am which doesn't seem right as long as i didn't run any updates or ... during the night. I just want to know if there is any way i make sure what was that weird internet usage about? maybe a trick that i can monitor all of my devices' bandwidth usage? regards soheilRésolu8,3 kVues0like3CommentairesHorrible service during power outage
Hi, This past friday my neighbourhood got hit by a thunderstorm. Nothing unexpected during a summer heat wave. During that storm we lost power at my house. This outage lasted about 7 hours. The Question I have is that as soon as the power went out (6:21 pm), I lost all data on all my devices (both my wife's phone and mine). While I still had service, and I could make a voice call anything else was questinoable. Text messages were hit and miss if people got them, MMS messages did not go and we most certainly couldn't use any true data. We also rebooted both devcies several times. I can understand that under an extended outage service could be impacted (tower batteries die etc etc), but to loose all data instantly is something I've never experienced before with any of my other carriers. For what it's worth I'm in Barrhaven Ontario (a Suburb of Ottawa) and the phones were reporting that they were on Videotron not a partner network. While internet is not a critical part of life, it tends to be the go to option for getting updates on power outages and bad weather status's. Can someone explain to me the cuase of this ? and is this something I can expect as normal operation with Videotron ? Tks, DaveRésolu7,8 kVues0like5Commentaires
