Videotron’s ultravast LTE network goes where you go, unless it’s to Osheaga

Les cartes réseau filaire sur les portables sont habituellement intégrées à la carte mère et il sera difficile de pouvoir la remplacer facilement. Vous pourriez possiblement opter pour une carte réseau compatible 5Ghz interne ou exerne (usb) qui vous permettrait d'obtenir des débits plus rapides, théoriquement jusqu'à environ 400mbits ou jusqu'à concurrence de la vitesse maximale de votre accès internet. Sans cela, vous serez limité à un débit d'un maximum de 100mbits si la carte réseau du portable est une carte de type 10/100mbits.

I would honestly recommend against going with Videotron if you live in Ottawa. Their coverage in the south end of the city is poor; I often can't get a signal of any strength in the south or south/east of Barrhaven.
- But as long as you enable roaming, you can roam onto partner networks that would have service though. So...no need to avoid Videotron.
FYI I'm noticing that 5G service is making progress in terms of coverage.
