False positives with Parental Controls

Is there a place to report this or add sites to an allow list?

Clearly.ca is an example of a site being blocked

  • To address false positives like Clearly.ca being blocked, you can manually add the site to your Approved sites list within your parental control app. If you are using Google Family Link, open the app, select your child, and navigate to Controls > Google Chrome > Manage sites > Approved, then tap Add a website and enter www.clearly.ca. While there isn't a single universal "report" button for the internet at large, you can report the misclassification directly to the service provider (e.g., Google or Microsoft) via their "Feedback" or "Help" menus. This helps improve their automated filters for everyone over time.
