Business internet port block

Hello,

 

I was recently informed that VideoTron is blocking ports on Business Internet using Dynamic IP.

Ports are only open for customers who have Static IP.

Is this true?

I am able to open ports 21 and 80 but unable to open port 10666.

    Hi rrarsena1981. We have verified this 10666 port but Videotron doesn't block it. Here are the ports that Videotron is blocking:

     

    The incoming blocked ports are  25 (SMTP), 80 (HTTP), 35 (DCOM) ,137-138-139 (NETBIOS), 161-162 (SNMP), 445 (SMB) ,1080 (PROXY),

     

    and outcoming 25 (SMTP) with the exeption of the s videotron.ca domaine name, 135 (DCOM), 139 (NETBIOS), 445 (SMB), 4444 (BLASTER).
