Incapable de rejoindre imprimante Brother HL-L2390DW par WiFi

Je suis nouveau membre de Helix.  Tout semble fonctionner correctement sauf que je ne suis pas capable de rejoindre mon imprimante HL-L2390DW par WiFi.  L'imprimante elle-même est connectée au réseau...

    Le problème de votre imprimante avec Helix c'est à cause de l'encryption wifi, le routeur Helix supporte seulement le mode WPA2-AES, il ne supporte pas le mode TKIP+AES, donc pour que votre imprimante marche, il faut changer l'encryption à AES seulement pas de TKIP.  La raison pourquoi ils ont abandonné le mode TKIP+AES c'est pour améliorer la sécurité et les certifications Wifi-Alliance.  Les vieux routeurs supportent encore le mode TKIP+AES c'est pourquoi beaucoup d'usagers rapportent que ça marche sur leur anciens routeurs mais pas Helix.

    Ce qui est plate c'est les devices qui sont déjà configurés TKIP+AES marcherons plus.

    Ceux qui disent de disabler UPNP pour que ça marche, c'est n'importe quoi comme suggestion.

La procédure est sur le site Brother, pas facile à trouver. 

Il faut rentrer votre SSID à la main (ne pas prendre celui auto-détecté même si vous rentrez le même nom) pour pouvoir ensuite avoir l'option "infrastructure"  qui permet de sélectionner le protocole d'encryption.  Ca marche pour moi (Brother HL-L2390DW). Je suis un nouvel utilisateur Helix et ca fait des semaines que cherche la solution. J'espère que ça servira à d'autres.

  1. Press Menu.
  2. Press  or  to select the [Network] option, and then press OK.
  3. Press  or  to select the [WLAN] option, and then press OK.
  4. Press  or  to select the [Setup Wizard] option, and then press OK.
  5. When [WLAN Enable?] appears, enable the wireless network.This will start the wireless setup wizard.
  6. The machine will search for your network and display a list of available SSIDs. Press  or  to select the [<New SSID>] option, and then press OK.
  7. Enter the SSID name, and then press OK.
  8. Press  or  to select the [Infrastructure] option, and then press OK.
  9. Press  or  to select the Authentication Method you want, and then press OK.
  10. Do one of the following:
    • If you selected the [Open System] option, press  or  to select the Encryption Type [None] or [WEP], and then press OK.
    • If you selected the [WEP] option for Encryption Type, enter the WEP key, and then press OK.
    • If you selected the [Shared Key] option, enter the WEP key, and then press OK.
    • If you selected the [WPA/WPA2-PSK] option, press  or  to select the Encryption Type [TKIP + AES] or [AES], and then press OK.
    • Enter the WPA™ key, and then press OK.
  11. Your Brother machine supports the use of the first WEP key only.
  12. To apply the settings, select [Yes]. To cancel, select [No].
  13. The machine attempts to connect to the wireless device you have selected.

If your wireless device is connected successfully, the machine's LCD displays [Connected].
