i tried editing settings to allow 1000 per port, didnt work, what kind of garbage is that router ??

Hello
When you say "per port"... are you talking about LAN ports or really the WAN port? ... I have one of those Zyxel routers with 200Mbps on my WAN port and 1G flat on each LAN port.
