When a recording is paused for more than 5-10 minutes it automatically switch to live TV. Help!!

If I leave a pre-recorded show on pause for more than 5-10 minutes the show is exited and it switches to live TV. I don’t like this at all - I’ve paused my show for a reason, and when I’m ready I want to just press play without having to open up my saved programs again. Could someone tell me how to fix this? This doesn’t appear to be part of the screensaver settings, as I have that set to turn on only after 5 hours, and besides, it’s not going into a power saving mode - it just goes to live TV, even though I hadn’t been watching live TV before.
