We reassure you, no one is forced to switch to Helix!
In order to simplify the use of our applications (we had several different ones), we will now only have one to view the content from your cell phone, tablet or laptop.
The current illico.tv and illico.web applications are no longer available since June 15, but you can actually use the new Helix TV application (no Helix subscription is required,
it's simply the generic name of the application) on mobile and/or to go to helix.videotron.com on a computer. Simply use your Customer Center username and password to log in.
Changes being inevitable, some features have actually been removed such as:- The possibility of programming remote recordings (this is still possible from the terminal, however) or of using the application remote control
- The ability to resume viewing between the app and your illico terminals. However, this has no impact on resuming viewing between different mobile devices.
- The ability to order paid content in the Helix TV app. You can still do this with your terminal on channel 900 and the free video-on-demand content remains available.With the change, you gain the new "Download and Go" option (for video on demand) to download content to watch anywhere in Canada in offline mode.
You can also easily find the channels in your package with the "Search" function.
In addition, all your current channels available on the Illico app are available on the new Helix app.More information is available on our website for this purpose at https://videotron.com/en/support/new-illico-tv-app

En effet, j'ai pu constater aussi que l'on ment au clients du service Illico au service à la clientèle. Contrairement à leur nouveau slogan "On se comprend", tout indique que les anciens clients fidèles qui ne veulent pas d'Hélix sont loin d'être pris en compte, et nos besoins incompris et ignorés.
Je suis vraiment empathique de la situation que vous vivez ainsi que la clientèle âgée qui n'a souvent que la télévision pour égayer leur journée.
