Thanks for the reply, It's what I sort of figured, I was kind of hoping for a golden nugget, from someone saying that they had confirmation from Videotron and they were working on a fix, since it's obviously been there for quite a while.
I'll probably try and reach out to them directly and see what they say. I'm not going to hold my breath though. All Telco's seem to be the same, but I can always hope.
With the exception of this issue in general I'm happy with the service and the price point. If it wasn't the corner of the city where I lived and spent a good chunk of my time, I probably wouldn't even notice it.

Unfortunately we do not have access to the network status here but indeed, your best option would be to contact technical support so that they can verify this further with you and take note of the details of this situation (and the precise locations) where you note these issues in order to escalate the situation to a higher level. Of course, this does not necessarily guarantee an immediate resolution but the fact is that the more cases the network team receives from a specific sector, the more it helps!
