Galaxy A5 battery drain after nougat update

My galaxy A5 updated to android nougat about 2 months ago and ever since that update the battery takes very long to charge and it also never reaches 100% only 98% sometimes 99%. The battery also seems to drain faster. This is a new phone I've had for only 5 months and this never used to happen before the update. Help!!! Any solutions for this issue??
