IP already reserve for a different device
I have a device that require to always have the same IP, as such I did a reservation but I ended up reserving the IP for the wrong device by mistake. I removed the other device reserved IP and putting it back in DHCP mode but now I can't assign the reserve IP to my device as it keep saying that this IP is already reserved for another device. I have a lease time of 8 hours and it's been over 48h since the mistake. I can't find anywhere else to release this reserved IP.
Hello! Have you been able to resolve the situation since? On which device are you performing this IP reservation configuration specifically? Is it a new generation Wi-Fi router provided by Videotron or a Helix gateway modem?
If this has not been done, you could of course try restarting the router but it could even go as far as resetting the settings on the router to default settings.
