6 SujetsFlash survey: How do you watch TV?
I'm curious to know how you are currently consuming your TV content? Are you the "zapping" type on live TV? Do you prefer to record all your favorite shows so you can listen to them without intermission? Are you the king of binge watching with video-on-demand? Do you listen to all your content on your mobile phone with an app? or do you have other TV consumption habits? And does the rest of your family have the same habits? Now is the right time to discuss! We want your opinion on the subject. Vincent Quigley Your Community Manager6,4 kVues0like5CommentairesProgram recording
Wanted to record Sharp Objects on HBO1 but system wouldn’t allow. Watched Episode 1 but following three episodes were in succession requiring binging until 1:30 am. Didn’t want to do that. Now can’t access first three episodes and next four are scheduled for this Saturday. How can I access Episodes 2 - 4?Résolu4,2 kVues0like1CommentaireWhy is Videotron not included as a service provider for most "Go" apps?
Why is it that many channels I pay for on my plan aren't accessible online through the channel's Go App? Videotron is hardly ever listed among the service providers. I've searched here for other inquiries into this matter, and I've only found one response from Videotron on the subject of the availability of "Go" apps through this service provider (Videotron). The response was given in 2017 and the list of apps is short. Perhaps it's time that Videotron supply us with a new, more comprehensive list of "Go" apps that are available to us for being a subscriber? It's almost 2020 - what with all the other options that are out there - we will be soon looking for a service provider who offers us what we're looking for: Direct access, online, to the channels we are paying them for. One last thing, from that 2017 list of "Go" apps made available to us by Videotron, I've only been able to successfully use two: A&E and Global Thanks.3,4 kVues0like1CommentaireWhats in this entertainment center?
I've finally outgrown the entertainment center I picked up on Craigslist a year ago. Can I see the actual A/V housing you guys are using? I'll admin short of me going to amazon/wayfair I'm lost in the furniture department. Ideally I need to house my PS4, XB1X, Nintendo Switch, Shield, Ethernet Switch, and Receiver. I just got an Elac Debut 2.0 C6.2 for my center so I could either place that on top of the center or inside the entertainment center if possible. Any suggestions? Hello, I have been with Videotron for only a few months now and i am getting a little frustrated with the PVR. There are shows programmed to record daily/weekly and the PVR seems to have a mind of its own. For example, a show prorammed to record daily at 2pm from Monday to Friday will record only 4 out of the 5 days. Another example is a show programmed to record "Every Monday at 9pm" on a specific channel will record EVERY time it airs on that channel. Before anyone asks me if i programmed them properly, yes i did, i double checked before posting this. But honestly, i am more concerned about missed recordings that too many recordings. These issues have been going on for months now and it happens with different shows, not always the same one. I'm not sure why this is happening but coming from Bell where this was NEVER an issue makes it a little more frustrating and it is making me doubt my decision to switch to Videotron. Hopefully someone here can help me.Résolu12 kVues0like10CommentairesLimitations of adding movies/shows to favorites list
Using my TV remote, I can add movies/shows from my subscribed on-demand channels(like The Movie Network, HBO Canada, Super Channel, etc.) toa "favorites" list. This is a great feature, as I can create a playlist of movies/shows that I can watch on-demand at any time. The problem is that this list is limited to 30 items. There's actually noway to discover this limitation other than attempting to add a 31st item, at which point the user receives an error message: "SERVER CONNECTION PROBLEM ... ERROR CODE: VOD315-07". This isa very unclear error message. It explains nothing at all to the end user, and Videotron developers would probably have to look up the error code as well to find out what it means. A better error message would be something like: "FAVORITES LIST IS FULL/CANNOT ADD MORE THAN 30 ITEMS". The other problem with this is, why a limit of 30? That is an arbitrary number, and a rather small one. In a family of 4 or more people with multiple TVs in the house, I can easily imagine 100+ movies/shows in a favorites list. Is it possible for Videotron developers to increase the size of the favorites list for future firmware updates of thePVR/terminal?Résolu5,5 kVues0like1Commentaire
