Content transfer: Using manufacturers’ applications
To transfer your content from an old mobile device to a new one, you can use specially designed manufacturer applications. From the following applications offering this feature, choose the one that matches your new device: Google Samsung Smart Switch Huawei Phone Clone Apple: Switching from Android to iPhone Apple: New iPhone device Pro tip: Transferable content may vary from one company to the next. With some transfer methods, you may have to download the application on your old model or use transfer material. While most manufacturers provide the equipment you need, make sure you have everything you need before starting the transfer. Content transfer can be convenient when you haven’t synchronized your content in the cloud and are in a bit of a hurry. This will also help if you switch from Google to Apple. Most phone manufacturers thought to create an application enabling you to transfer your content from one device to the other to make things easier. Here’s a quick look at what these applications can do. Wireless transfers Wireless transfer is the most common option available to manufacturers thanks to Bluetooth, NFC and Wi-Fi Direct technologies. Generally, you just need to have the app on both phones and follow the instructions. You will first be asked to identify the old device and then the new one. You can then choose what you want to transfer to your new phone. Cloud transfers This is very similar to a Google or iCloud account transfer. It’s very effective when you want to transfer your data from an Apple product to an Android one. Make sure you’re connected to a Wi-Fi network or have sufficient data to proceed without exceeding your limit. USB cable transfers This method usually helps speed up the transfer. Most manufacturers provide an adaptor with their product to connect the devices together. The application will help you connect everything properly. As you can see, it’s getting easier to transfer data from one device to another. Even if you want to switch platforms or manufacturers, you can still find a solution that will allow you to keep what matters most to you! Samsung soundbar interfering with Wifi?
Hi. A friend of mind was told that his Samsung soundbar will interfere with the WiFi signal from his Helix gateway. I also have a Samsung sound bar and a regularly have my WiFi signal interrupted when using my iPad, computer and game console. Especially annoying when in an on-line meeting. Is their any merit to that? I followed every trouble shooting tip to try to alleviate this problem, but without success. That's my last guest as to what might explain these regular interruptions. Thanks.
Handshake problem?
Hoping you folks can figure out this annoying problem. Brand new Samsung QLED TV (Q90A) connected directly to the Illico Samsung 4K PVR via HDMI (I've switched 3 cables, problem persists) This doesn't happen all the time but on cold boot (say, in the morning), there will either be no sound, other times no image no sound and other days all is good with image and sound. When there is no image I still get the info below: The only way to fix this is to reboot the terminal and connect/reconnect the cable. The same happens on the TV's other 3 HDMI ports. If I connect the terminal to my little 19"in Samsung, never a problem and the same when it was connected to the old Samsung plasma. Galaxy Note8 Smart Focus
Hi, this is for any of you with the Note8. Now that the device have officially a month in the market, can you tell us your impressions? Battery life, overall performance, sPen, dual camera, etc. I read somewhere that the dual focus feature is not as nice as all the hype had made us believe. I will like to know how it compares to the portrait mode of Apple and how well that dual OIS is working out for the Note8. In your opinion does the Note8 is worth getting over the S8+ specially when considering the price hyke between them compared to the features. Thanks in advance
