I am about to install a Helix Gateway. I also have a videtron homephone modem. It is not mentioned but I am assuming the coax splitter means i don't have to use the ethernet cable from the telephone modem now. Is this correct? Thanks

Hi! If you still have the phone service with us, you need to use the splitter so that a coaxial cable can go to the modem which is providing the phone line, and then another coaxial cable can go to the Helix Gateway which will be providing internet and WiFi.
Thank you
