How to configure a Helix Fi gateway 2 as a wireless access point (WAP) to extend an existing WiFi?

Hello everyone,

I'd like to know if it's possible to configure a white Helix Fi gateway 2 router as a wireless access point (WAP) to extend an existing WiFi network? If so, then how?

Hi David! 

Unfortunately, this is not a configurable option for the Helix gateway. However, we take note of this suggestion.

If you are already using a Helix  gateway as the first access point, the best solution to extend your network would be to use Helix Wi-Fi pods. That said, nothing prevents you from also using another router that would allow this type of configuration or any other Wi-Fi signal extender. The downside is that you will have to manually configure these outside of the Helix Fi app.
