helix pods slow
hi
I set up 2 pods in my house, they seem to be online according to the app.
But the 5g network is not working anymore and speed near them is 80Meg's instead of 400.
what is wrong?
thanks
You probably had both 2,4 and 5 GHz networks separated - but by connecting Helix Pods, the band steering feature (same access points name for both) is automatically switched on and you cannot disable it. That is why you can only see the 2,4 GHz name, 5 GHz is bearing the same name but you can't see it because they are unified. Regarding the speed drop, that can happen, but usually not at such rate.

Hello, the devices connected through the Pods won't get full speed, due to how Wi-Fi repeaters work. Please do not hesitate to contact us directly through phone or chat for immediate support https://videotron.com/en/contact-us Thank you and have a nice evening/weekend. -Berenger

hi thanks
From 400 to 80 seems a pretty dramatic drop?
Also why is it only 2.4ghz , what happened to the 5GHz ssid.
It was enabled till I added the podsregards
