a difficult question
So I had a cable for Videotron illico on the first floor and a coax for Videotron internet below back then.
I switched from Videotron TV and Internet to Fizz Internet.
My basement is semin destroyed since I was flooded, and I don't plan to rewire electrical there because we might move.
Only the first floor will be wired with electricity.
Can I use my existing Videotron tv cable on the top level to connect the fizz modem, or do I have to connect the fizz modem to the internet, which is downstairs?
Videotron and Fizz are using the same signal. The Fizz modem should work in any cable outlet, as long as it's an active outlet.
