How does pre authorized payment work?

I'm signed up for pre-authorized payment, my bill is due in a couple days Does pre-authorized payment pay on the last day? can i set it up so it pays right away, then i wont have to worry about not...

For the preauthorized payment, it must be added in your videotron customer area or call the customer service, for the invoice that is already sent must be paid manually.
