It’s unfortunate to hear about your experience with the rented Samsung Z Flip 5 from Videotron. After returning the damaged device, you were informed that it wouldn't be covered under warranty, and you would need to pay for repairs out-of-pocket while continuing to make rental payments. Given the well-documented screen issues with this model, it’s concerning that Videotron did not adequately inform customers. You’re seeking a fair resolution, hoping Videotron acknowledges these issues and offers a better solution to loyal customers like yourself.

Roxanne. I wrote those for other clients to avoid issues like mine. I totally agree if the phone it last for 2 years ( Apple Phone) the rent subscription is still worth it. But in my case I have to pay rent another year for a damaged phone and at the end of my subscription repair the phone for $730+tax and returned or second option to pay the full phone at $480 and keep a damaged phone. I provide documents to videotron saying the phone broke on the last day of warranty (karma) when I was on Vacation and when I come back guess what "I'm out of warranty"
