How do I change my mobile plan using the Customer Centre / Espace client?
I have a 4-line family plan, and I want to upgrade service on two lines. I thought Videotron would make it easy for me to give them more money, but that doesn't seem to be true! According toVideotron Support, we can change our services using the Customer Centre. Would someone please describe how I can change my mobile plan this way?Résolu8,1 kVues0like1CommentaireRe: Is roaming charge possible to happen in area even not near US border?
I live in Ottawa, but travel frequently along Hwy 7 (to Peterborough) and the 416/401 to Picton, so I have experience with roaming outside of Videotron's network. There are no charges for roaming on Rogers or Bell's networks in these areas. I have had times where my phone would have "No Service"... I think it's because the phone doesn't have up-to-date information about the networks. Usually a reboot will download new service data, and solve the problem. Another problem when roaming on Rogers or Bell may be that you have phone service but no internet. To solve this, you will sometimes need to go into your cellular settings and disable automatic network selection, to choose a specific network instead. Just remember to re-enable automatic selection when you're back home.5,8 kVues0like0CommentaireRe: Daily Traveller Pass / International Roaming not working in India
Important to note: Wifi hotspots in India frequently require you to have a functional mobile phone to connect, as login depends on entry of a passcode that they will send to you via SMS. (Related article.) Unless you're traveling with someone who has an Indian phone (...or Rogers, or Bell, or Telus...) you may find yourself without the ability to reach the internet when you may need it most.8,5 kVues0like1CommentaireRe: Daily Traveller Pass / International Roaming not working in India
The Indian carrier that Videotron has their roaming agreement with, Tata Docomo, is effectively shut down in most of the country, and began shifting its own users to Airtel since November 2017, according to this story in the Economic Times of India.8,5 kVues0like0CommentaireDaily Traveller Pass / International Roaming not working in India
I'm traveling in India, and cannot get any mobile service for my Videotron Daily Traveller Pass. I've contacted support, and learned that the only Indian carrier they have an agreement with in-country is Tata Docomo. Despite being in the middle of a large city supposedly in that carrier's territory, I cannot get service, and that carrier does not show up as an available Cellular Network in settings / Cellular / Network Selection. Has anyone had success using Videotron roaming in India? What's the trick? iPhone 6S Plus, iOS 12.1.2 The carriers I can see currently are: IDEA 404 999 CellOne IND airtel Vodafone IN Reliance IND-JIO None of those provide service when selected manually. The last word from Videotron support was: get a local SIM card. Seriously.Résolu8,5 kVues0like4CommentairesRe: Partner network data connectivity issues
I am also experiencing data roaming issues, on all 4 devices in my family, all with SIM cards obtained from Videotron 3 weeks ago. Apple iPhones 6 & 6s. In the US last week, got Only phone on AT&T, but 3G or LTE if manually selected T-Mobile. Currently in Peterborough area, getting no data on PRTNR1 (Rogers?) but seeing LTE connection indicator on PRTNR2 (Bell?). Regardless, cannot actually use data on PRTNR2. This is unacceptable, and I will need to terminate our contract and request refund if it cannot be fixed this week.14 kVues1like0Commentaire
