as a gamer who plays on both PC and a PS5 console, i as well am very dissapointed in the lack of accessibility when it comes to the HELIX router. i have attempted to setup a Static IP Address on my PS5 and then attempted to open Call Of Duty ports on the new Static/Manual IP Address, however the HELIXFI app requires you to choose a device by its default/Automatic IP Address and then forward the ports. meaning i cannot have a Static IP Address and have opened ports for Call Of Duty on my PS5. another issue is you cannot have the same ports forwarded on different devices. for example: i play Call Of Duty Warzone on PC and Call Of Duty: Vanguard on Console, both games using similar port number/port ranges, but i cannot forward the same port number/port range on more than 1 device at a time, as a message appears "this port is already assigned, remove this rule or delete the port forward in order to proceeed". this means im constantly adding, deleting, re/adding ports between both devices depending on what i decide to play and on what platform i choose to play it on.19 kVues0like0Commentaire1GB Plan | Packet Loss / High Ping
Hi, is anybody else located in Chateauguay Area experiencing issues with Videotron? I am a gamer, have the best package videotron has to offer, however, I've been experiencing high Ping or Packet Loss for almost a week now. I game online hardwired via LAN cable, I've port forwarded, I've done modem restarts, nothing worked. I've contacted Support and they claim there is an issue in my area being resolved. However I'm unsure if that's true because I would assume it be resolved by now. Anyone else experiencing this as of May 18 2021? Thank you.Résolu4,8 kVues0like2Commentaires
