Upgrading to Helix during COVID-19 isolation - can I install the router myself

Can I install the Helix router myself if I upgrade?

With the need for isolation durint the COVID-19 crisis, we had to set up an ad-hoc home office at our bedroom, which is far from the wifi router. While the connection gets there, it's a weak signal that will drop at times.

We are Videotron internet clients, with a common modem-router combo. We would like to upgrade to Helix and get the wifi extender pods so we can have strong signal in the bedroom. But, due to the COVID-19 isolation, we wonder if it would be possible to receive the equipment by mail and install it ourselves. I'm pretty comfortable with technology, and I always change the router configuration myself after the technician comes.

Hi Tiagomota, 

Unfortunately, it is required for a technician to come to install Helix services. We stopped all Helix upgrades for now due to COVID-19 and we can't send the equipment for you to install, really sorry.
