2. Experience the magic of L’International des Feux Loto-Québec

When: Thursdays from June 29 to August 10, and Sunday, July 30

Where: La Ronde, Parc Jean-Drapeau, Montréal

Now in its 37^th year, L’International des Feux Loto-Québec is a mind-blowing fireworks competition between some of the world’s greatest pyrotechnicians. This year, teams from Ukraine, Belgium, Portugal, Canada, the United States, and Finland will face off in a dazzling display of creativity. An opening show with a “Boy & Girl Bands” theme and a closing Metallica tribute show round out this explosive experience.

3. Surf the vibe at Cigale

When: August 12 and 13, 2023

Where: Baie de Beauport SunLife, Québec City

Québec’s new music festival is back at the beach for a second year, with a supremely vibey lineup. There will be swimming, beach sports, great food and, of course, 16 performances by Indie musicians rocking out on two stages for some 20,000 festivalgoers.

4. See a memorable boxing match

When: August 19, 2023

Where: Videotron Centre, Québec City

In one of the most important fights in recent years, Russian-Canadian Artur Beterbiev will defend his unified WBC, WBO, and IBF light-heavyweight title against Englishman Callum Smith. All of North America will be glued to the screen for this epic match. Contenders Christian Mbilli, Simon Kean, Wilkens Mathieu, and Leïla Beaudoin will also have their time in the ring at this event, which Videotron is proud to sponsor. 5. Laugh it up at ComediHa! Fest Québec

When: August 8 to 26, 2023

Where: Québec City

Now in its 24^th year, comedy festival ComediHa! Fest is back for another round of non-stop laughs in Québec City. Laugh it up at one of six showcases hosted by jokesters Laurent Paquin, Anthony Kavanagh, Michel Courtemanche, and others, August 8 to 13. The following week will feature a roast of Québec favourites Jean-Michel Anctil, Guylaine Tremblay, Guy Jodoin, and Michel Charette. While there, swing by the Videotron Cube, an exclusive, intimate venue that will be open to winners of a big contest and will host special comedy sets just for Videotron customers. The Videotron Cube patio is also a great place to watch the free shows on the Loto-Québec stage at Place George-V.
