Video signal hiccups

I've been noticing a lot of "hiccups" in my signal lately....that is, while watching a show, the video signal will quickly stop and then jump ahead a split second and continue.....I wonder if this has something to do with the PVR hard drive and buffering? It seems to happen with various shows, various channels, at various times, so no apparent consistency other than the symptom itself (brief hiccup).

    Hi! If this is for an illico PVR (and not Helix, since those don't have an HDD) tech support can actually check if the HDD is doing OK or not. That would be your best bet.

    did you try to reboot (unplug power) your PVR? This might help to fix the problem.

    Don’t worry soon it will stop working and then they will offer you to install illico back instead as they did with me...
