SMS NOT WORKING AT ALL
I just switched to Videotron and got a new phone Samsung Galaxy A56 5G. Text messaging will not send or receive. Everything else transferred over and is working. I've restarted the phone several time...

Hi Kacanada and welcome to Videotron's community forums. You could try the following:
Clear Messages App Cache: Go to Settings > Apps > Messages > Storage > Clear cache/data to remove potential app glitches.
Reset Network Settings: Navigate to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset network settings to refresh connections.
Verify SMSC Number: Ensure the Message Centre number is correct in your message app settings and is set to Videotron's SMSC server number: +15144240053
If problems persist, I'd recommend you contact Videotron to check for network outages or issues with your account. This type of situation can also occur if you transferred your number from your previous provider and the transfer wasn't completed. You could also try to port in your number using their automated system at 1-877-477-5757 if it wasn't done yet.
