Anonyme Oui 8$/mois peut sembler pas cher mais combiné à tous mes autres frais de télécoms que je paie déjà, ça fait quand même beaucoup et c'est \"poche\" de devoir payer 100 $ de plus par année juste pour des MMS qui ont pourtant toujours été inclus auparavant. Je vais faire des recherches pour savoir comment créer un APN qui serait utilisé pour les MMS seulement tout en bloquant les données régulières pour les autres applis, merci de la suggestion.

malheureusement, Vidéotron ne peut pas y faire grand chose... c'est pas Vidéotron qui a décidé de changer le fonctionnement de l'appareil pour les MMS... c'est Google ou le fabricant de l'appareil.
En résumé, les données mobile ont toujours été nécessaires pour la transmission et la réception des MMS. Il semble que votre ancien appareil pouvait activer les données seulement pour les mms. malheureusement, il ne semble plus possible de le faire à moins de bidouiller un peu pour arriver au même fonctionnement que vous aviez avant.
la solution des APN différents est probablement votre meilleure option...
il y a aussi la rom \"custom\" que vous pouvez installer sur votre appareil... mais cela n'est n'est pas supporté par Vidéotron et ça a comme conséquence la plupart du temps d'annuler la garantie de l'appareil. Aussi, pour quelqu'un qui s'y connait un peu moins, ça peut être bien du trouble pour rien.

mais une chose est sûr, le MMS necessite les données mobile... ca ne compte pas sur vos données utilisées temps que vous êtes au Canada.
Il y a probablement un autre paramètres que vous pouvez utiliser pour désactiver les données sans désactiver le MMS... mais je n'ai pas d'appareil en main pour le tester et vous en dire plus.

Quand tu dis ne pas avoir de forfait de données, veux-tu aussi dire que tu as demandé au Service à la clientèle de bloquer les données mobiles dans ton compte ? Si c'est le cas, c'est peut-être ce qui bloque les MMS.
Désactiver l'option Données Mobiles dans les menus de ton téléphone ne devrait pas bloquer les MMS ni les appels VoLTE mais si c'est bloqué dans le compte, c'est peut-être la source du problème.
