Spam Filters / Inbox Error Messages
Lots of spam emails have been getting through lately, so I added some mail filters to automatically move them to the Spam folder.The filters work sometimes, but not always. Some messages go the Spam folder, while others stay in my inbox. Worse is that every incoming email - even legitimate messages - now generates an error message from a Ne Pas Repondre mailbox at Videotron. All these error messages have "Problem during delivery processing" as the subject. The email body contains the following (among other things): Processing errors occurred during delivery: Recipient address: [redacted] Reason: Error in sieve filter: Sieve body is not enabled around input line 16 [fileinto" , "body" ]^; #BEGINFILTER ] Delivery processing continued in spite of these errors. I know I configured my filters properly. If I remove the filters, I stop getting these error messages. Seems to me the problem is not at my end but at Videotron.And it is really annoying. I try to keep this straight to the point. accessing email through a mobile device such as my Samsung S9+ phone, or my Samsung Tab s4. I have tried multiple email apps, on both phone and tablet with no success. Each time says Email/user and or password incorrect. I reset the password and still the same issue. I have even tried multiple times with Manual setup. Still same issue and msg. Can it be that you need a separate user and or password to access the emails, and not have to go through the website and webmails. as this is a big waist of time, and I don't like having to go through hoops. Start an app it gets my mail and I can write from it. As simple and outlook, gmail and the others. Videotron just doesn't work that good. Unless you can prove me wrong. under manage user accounts> xxx (user) >, Identifiers for your Videotron email accountwhere it says to use the same customer service ID, is this correct or can you select use separate? But when you select separate one, how to use this feature, How to setup use or ID? I believe its this that is causing the issue. or Videotron and some security feature in place. I called them and explained my issue and they followed a script, and print screens from the website, which I found to be a waist of time. I have tried calling for support, writing with no reply. manual setup, on both mobile and tablet both with no success. I don't use my videotron e-mail address other than creating it 6+ years ago. However now that I can not have a paper bill (not cool btw) I need to access this account to read the bill! I've made 3 attempts to get my recovery & not once has the e-mail been sent to me even though my e-mail I used daily is on file & the site claims it's been sent. Hi all, I have 5 different email addresses with Videotron, all with unique User names and passwords but I can only add 2 to my iPad and my android phone. I received an email saying that when signing up for the community I indicated that I was an employee (I am not and wouldn't have said so), and to email my employee number and professional email to a linked address.
