5 SujetsWhich 5G Bands - Not Frequencies - Are Used?
Which 5G bands specifically are used?Wikipediasuggests, that 1700 MHz is used by bands n66 and n86; 2100 MHz is used by bands n1, n34, n65, n66, n84 and n95; and 700 MHz is used by bands n12, n13, n14, n28, n29, n67, n83 and n85. For example, according tothis map(which sadly doesn't contain 5G information for Videotron - hence my question), Videotron's towers seem to broadcast LTE on bands 4 and 66, both at 1700 MHz - but not on band 70, which is also at 1700 MHz. As such, a phone which receives data at 1700 MHz on only band 70 and not on bands 4 and 66 would not function on Videotron's network.4,8 kVues0like4Commentaires5G Frequencies used by Videotron
Hi everyone, I have a Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G that I bought in France. I understand that at this stage every country is using different 5G frequencies to deploy their own 5G network. As a result, I would like to know if anyone is aware of the 5G frequencies used by Videotron? And if my Samsung would be compatible with 5G network here in Canada? If it is not compatible, will a firmware update (Operator) solve the problem with frequency? Or I will have to change a new phone? Thanks a lot!!Résolu6,7 kVues1like2Commentaires
